About the founder
Envisage Companies was founded on April 13, 2024 by Joanna Hatch.
Envisage Companies started as a services business. ClaimWrit was built for personal injury law firms that needed pre-suit demand packages prepared properly and quickly, drawing on a background spanning legal operations, accounts payable and construction project accounting.
The software came second, and it came from the work. Collecting medical records, chasing missing documents, tracking case status and keeping communication out of scattered email threads were daily problems, not theoretical ones. The portal built to solve them became CaseLink Portal, then FileButler for businesses well outside personal injury, and together they became VISN Enterprise.
The two divisions still inform each other. The services side knows what a carrier-ready file actually requires, and the software side turns that knowledge into workflow other businesses can use under their own brand.
